For Immediate Release: Creation of Carolina Soccer Club
Carolina Soccer Club (CSC) is excited to announce its
creation for the upcoming 2015/2016 soccer year and beyond.
Practice and games will take place at JN Fries athletic
stadium, located at the intersection of Old Concord Road and Highway 49 in
Concord, NC. The clean, safe, and convenient location of the facility will
provide an excellent opportunity for families in the Harrisburg, Concord, and
surrounding areas seeking a superior soccer experience.
For the 2015/2016 year Carolina Soccer Club will focus on
the soccer education of boys and girls ages 4 – 12, with a view to expanding
age group coverage as of next year.
The breakdown of the club structure for the 2015/2016
year will be as follows:
Elite Tournament Teams (11 – 12 year olds)
Elite Tournament Teams participate solely in tournaments.
Teams will practice 1-2 times per month, and enter 2-3 tournaments per season.
This program is a supplemental opportunity for players already playing in an
existing club soccer organization. Elite Tournament Teams play 8v8, 9v9, and/or
11v11 soccer.
Academy (8-10 year olds)
Academy teams will participate in regular season Academy
festivals events with other club soccer groups in the Charlotte area and
surrounding region. Teams in this program will also participate in tournaments.
Academy teams play 6v6, 7v7, and/or 8v8 soccer.
Junior Programs (4-7 year olds)
Junior programs operate by participating in intra-program
events. This is not a “recreation program.” This is a professional
soccer-education program that establishes the right habits in the youngest of
players. Teams in this program play 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, and/or 6v6 soccer.
Try outs for 8-12 year olds will take place the week of
May 11th, 2015, with the season starting in mid-August 2015.
Sign-ups for the 4-7 year old programs will begin at the
start of May 2015, with the program starting in September 2015.

Soccer.
