Quarantine may be reduced to 10 days if the following conditions exist for a player who has been identified as a close contact:
  1. The close contact has been vaccinated with a COVID vaccine that requires 2 doses to be vaccinated (Pfizer or Moderna) or 1 dose of a COVID vaccine that requires 1 dose (J&J), and it has been less than 14 days since the last dose of the vaccine was administered: OR
  2. The individual does not develop symptoms of show clinical evidence of COVID-19 infection during daily symptom monitoring for the 10 days after date f last exposure; AND
  3. The individual continues to monitor themselves for symptoms through day 14 after date of last exposure
  • No quarantine period is required when an individual is identified as a close contact and one of the following situations applies:
  1. Within the past 3 months the close contact had a positive, confirmatory COVID (PCR) test; OR
  2. The close contact has been vaccinated with a COVID vaccine that requires 2 doses of a vaccine to be fully vaccinated or 1 dose of a COVID vaccine that only requires 1 dose and 14 days have passed since the last dose of the vaccine has been administered.
  • Players may not "test out" of quarantine early
  • If the exposed individual begins feeling sick or exhibiting symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they should speak with their healthcare provider and are urged to get a COVID-19 test.

Guidelines for Parents:

  • Please take your player’s temperature every day before coming to the field
  • Keep them home if they have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, or if they have any of the possible COVID-19 symptoms to the right.
  • Outdoors--Players must bring a face mask/covering everyday to wear anytime it is not possible to maintain 6 feet distance--on and off the field. Players without face masks will not be allowed to participate
  • Indoors--Players must wear a face covering at all times over their nose and mouth when inside the MAC Dome. Players without face masks will not be allowed to participate.
  • Indoor training sessions--we ask that you drop your child off and not remain in the Dome. Exceptions: if you live far away or are the parent of a younger player.
  • Players should bring their own drinks (water only when in the Dome)--no sharing is permitted
  • Players should bring their own soccer ball to practices—Eastside will not provide any balls
  • No players will share the same equipment at any time
  • Players will not touch any equipment that is not their own, including any Eastside equipment
  • Pennies—if pennies are used, players will be issued a pennie that they will keep for the entire season. Players will be expected to wash their pennie prior to each practice, scrimmage or game
  • All equipment will be cleaned before and after every day practice and game
  • To encourage social distancing, all practices/clinics/camps will use larger playing areas and smaller groups
  • Only necessary equipment will be used during practices to reduce the risk of players coming into contact with equipment
  • Outdoors--Non-playing/coaching attendees will be kept at least 50 feet away from all playing areas. Spectators must wear masks when social distancing not possible
  • Every player will keep their belongings at least 6 feet away from other players
  • Sanitizing and hygiene products will be provided by coaching staff, but we recommend that families bring their own products to avoid sharing

Guidelines for games:

  • Masks must be worn over nose and mouth by players, coaches, spectators, and referees at all times
  • Goalies must not share equipment
  • Throw ins allowed
  • Headers allowed for age groups where heading is allowed
  • Keep your player home if they have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, or if they have any of the possible COVID-19 symptoms above.
